Joachim Althof
Joachim Althof is Managing Partner and is based in the Munich office. He is a specialist for financial communication. His clients are international asset managers and Fintechs. Joachim holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and has got more than ten years of experience in financial journalism. His last position was as the section chief editor at €uro at the Axel Springer Finanzen Verlag. He trained as a journalist at the Cologne School of Journalism for Politics and Economy.
Ulrike Berzborn
Ulrike Berzborn is a Senior Consultant in GFD’s Frankfurt team. Among other things, she specialises in project management and has been responsible for the production of many annual and quarterly reports. After having worked in several public relations agencies, she joined GFD in mid-2000. Ulrike Berzborn has a master’s degree in English and American Literature and is a trained consultant in corporate communications.
Jasmin Dentz
Jasmin Dentz is Managing Partner at GFD. The main focus of her work is corporate positioning, sustainability, Mergers & Acquisitions as well as Investor Relations. She graduated in Business Administration and holds the French Diplôme de l`Ecole Multinationale des Affaires. Furthermore, she is a Certified Environmental Social and Governance analyst (CESGA), Certified Investor Relations Officer (CIRO) and Certified Fixed Income Relations Officer (FIRO). Jasmin has many years of professional experience in the field of strategic capital markets communications.
Peter Dietz
Peter Dietz, Managing Partner at GFD, is specialised in all types of questions related to Investor Relations. He is GFD‘s expert regarding initial public offerings. Peter holds a Master`s Degree in Economics and is a certified CEFA analyst. Before joining GFD he worked for five years as a financial journalist at Börse online, and led the investor relations and corporate communications departments at the M-DAX companies SGL Carbon and GEA Group for a total of five years.
Eva Fiedler
Eva Fiedler is Senior Consultant and the specialist for financial press work in the Munich office. Her focus is the strategic positioning as well as the entire range of financial communication for asset managers and banks. Eva Fiedler has particular expertise in the field of storytelling, which means the visual and media-suitable formulation of relevant key topics and key messages. Eva Fiedler holds a Master's Degree in American Studies, Business Administration and Psychology.
Lars Haugwitz
Lars Haugwitz, Senior Consultant, is the communications expert for real estate and real asset issues, he advises companies and asset managers on strategic positioning and tactical implementation. Lars Haugwitz has deep knowledge and experience in various areas of real estate, renewable energies and impact investing. Before he spent 12 years in charge of the real estate special interest magazine "Immobilien & Finanzierung" and was the editor of various magazines for the banking industry.
Jörg Jäger
Jörg Jäger kümmert sich bei GFD als Senior Consultant vor allem um internationale Asset Manager und Banken. Seine Laufbahn begann er als Redakteur für Asset Management bei der Nachrichtenagentur vwd. Es folgten Stationen als Journalist im Portfolio Verlag. Danach arbeitete er als Market Reporter für Dow Jones/ Wall Street Journal sowie Bloomberg. Anschließend leitete er bei Siemens die Media & Industry Analyst Relations der Smart-Grid-Division.
Er hat Geschichte, Politik und Philosophie studiert.
Uwe Lill
Uwe Lill, Managing Partner, is the expert regarding financial public relations. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and has over ten years of experience as a journalist. He has worked in management positions at a number of major companies in the German publishing industry (FAZ, Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt, Finanzen Verlag). Additionally, his professional experience working at different banks and consulting companies give him a broad foundation in financial topics.
Heike Linke
Heike Linke has been working with GFD since 2004. In her role as management assistant, she is primarily responsible for administrative tasks. In addition to general back-office work such as accounting and reception of guests, she organises events such as Hedgework, the event in Frankfurt on the subject of alternative investments for institutional investors, and coordinates student assistants. Before joining GFD, she worked for Baxter Oncology in Heidelberg and Degussa AG in Frankfurt.
Markus Rosenberg
Markus Rosenberg, Director, is a Business Administration Graduate from Cologne University of applied sciences with more than 19 years of professional experience in the financial industry. Before joining GFD in 2015, he worked many years for the External Communications Department of DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale, where he was Head of the Press Department at last. Before that, he was responsible for the public relations of Franklin Templeton Investments in Germany and Austria.
Bastian Wahlich
Bastian Wahlich holds a degree as Bachelor of Information Science and Engineering (specialist area economic information). In his role as Midoffice Manager he is responsible for all technical matters at GFD, where he takes care of research and back office functions as well. Prior of joining GFD he worked among others for the business consultancy Towers Watson as well as for Fraport AG.
Dirk-Arne Walckhoff
As an expert for Corporate Communications Dirk-Arne Walckhoff is specialised on Reputation Building and Reputation Protection. He advises as Senior Consultant companies on all aspects of strategic positioning. Dirk-Arne has special expertise in Crisis Prevention, Crisis Communication and Change Communications. He holds a Master’s Degree in Historical Sciences at University of Federal Armed Forces Hamburg and has 20 years experience in Corporate Communications.
Sebastian Weigel
Sebastian Weigel, Consultant, specializes in financial communication for international asset managers and banks, he advises companies in publishing annual reports and writes byline articles as well as speeches. Before joining GFD at the beginning of 2018, he worked at the corporate communications department of Bankhaus Metzler, where he was responsible for PR. Sebastian Weigel holds a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages, Cultures and Economics, majoring in English Language, Literatures & Cultures.
Adrian Witt
Adrian Witt is Consultant and specializes in financial press work as well as social media and video production. Adrian Witt holds a Master in German and Communication Studies and a Bachelor in German Studies and History. He received a scholarship as part of the Journalistic Support Program (JFS) of Hanns Seidel Foundation. As such, he already had a chance to get deep insights into print, photo, online, radio and television journalism during his studies.
